Xbox 360 power problem

Hello,
i connected my xbox360 to TV.turned it on but after 3sec it switches off.the green light comes a picture for few sec appears on tv and then it automatically switches off.
kindly identify the problem?

this may be due to an internel problem.
contact your service provider for support.
or get it repaired by a qualified technician.

Tape up all the openings and run it for 10 mins, let it cool for 20 and try again.
