Unfortunately this could be related to a hardware problem. Most probably, there is a problem with your monitor, worn out backlight or a connectivity issue. Is the laptop under warranty? If it is, call the manufacturer's support and request a technical examination. If the laptop is not under warranty, you should contact a technician.
