hello,I switched on my laptop and found out that the monitor is not showing anything but going on the bulb it shows the icons but at very low brightness. what's wrong its an acer model MS2394.

Unfortunately this could be related to a hardware problem. Most probably, there is a problem with your monitor, worn out backlight or a connectivity issue. Is the laptop under warranty? If it is, call the manufacturer's support and request a technical examination. If the laptop is not under warranty, you should contact a technician.
