Hello,
i recommend downloading and running a scan with https://www.malwarebytes.com/
Run the malware scan over and over until it comes back clean.
Then I would use ESET's online scanner https://www.eset.com/us/home/online-scanner/ and again, scan until clean.
Open up IE settings and clear temp files and reset IE to default (Advanced tab).
Check the HOSTS file on your PC for rogue entries:-
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Copy the hosts file to the desktop and open it with notepad
There should be nothing after "# 127.0.0.1 localhost"
if there are entries in there that dont start with # then delete them, save it and copy it back to the folder. Restart the PC.
Now that some time has passed and virus definitions have been updated.
time to update malwarebytes and run it again!
do the same with ESET.
GOOD LUCK YOUNG SIR, WE SALUTE YOU!
