Using word to pdf converter in application

i am looking to add a functionality in my online app, such as a button which can convert a word or doc to pdf. I see many freeware such as foxit reader. Has anyone tried using like this.. any suggestions

If it works and does what you want, then go for it. I would pay for the Adobe Software that will do it, to be honest. If you are authoring these documents for profit, pay for the proper licensing!
