Auto typing of letters and numbers.

Hello, i m having difficulty in typing letters n numbers in word document. if i press a letter 'r' it goes on typing like this 'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'... what could be the possible reason n how can i overcome this. help me...

start-->control panel-->keyboard-->speed-->repeat rate-->change the cursor according to speed for you move it to slow..
