A couple of problems i need help with

Hello,
i own a LG A510 i run windows 7 so basically when im playing a game lets say team fortress 2 my screen just goes black and goes into sleep mode any idea what is causing it? i have 3gb ram and a 500gb hdd whichim thinking is the problem but im not sure any way i can fix this?
