Hello,
so i own a lenovo G50-30 series with intel celeron in it

now here is the problem

it has 2GB ram and only one RAM slot, can i put in 4-6 GB RAM and not have any issues? basically what i mean to ask is that can celeron run it? and what benefit wil it do to me? if i decide to play games on it like left 4 dead 2 or garrys mod?

it has 500gb HDD which i want to upgrade to 1TB, basically what i mean to ask is that can celeron run it? and what benefit wil it do to me? if i decide to play games on it like left 4 dead 2 or garrys mod?

and if i was to do any one of these which one would be more beneficial for me?

Yes you can upgrade to a max of 8 GB.

Will it be much of a benefit? Probably not.

Likewise, a larger hard disk will hold more memory it will not make your computer faster or enable it to run games better.

CPU and GPU speeds are what you need for most games. You have neither with that laptop.
