Hello,
i have one of my friend PC which is a dell computer.. when i try to format my PC it takes several hours to format.. so i remove my hard drive and try to format it using some other PC. well i format it using that PC and it was working gud then i remove my hard drive and put back on my dell computer. Whenever I use to turn it on it would ask me to press F1 or F2 and it would then load windows XP. now when i press F1 windows starts loading but it seems to be very slow like freezing.. i even upgrade my RAM to 512MB. still the same problem im facing.. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Its better you erase the partition which you want to format then create a fresh partition and then format.. and install your OS.

do one thing after pressing f1 rapidly press f8 after that you see the various option like safe mode and other. try to start in safe mode if it start well then just restart your pc.
