I have a 2TB WD External HD, and i just bought it recently, for some reason if i copy video files into the hard drive, it plays some and don't play some and it's getting me frustrated, please i need someone to help me out before i go hurricane rumble on it.
To add to that, sometimes if i'm copying some files, an error message pops up saying "a certain error stuff is not allowing me to copy a certain file" that stuff just draws me closer on going tarzan on this god forsaken HD....
Please help....

Hello gboygkells,
I'm sorry that you have some issues with our product. Have you tried to connect your external drive to another Pc and make transfer of video files there? In order to be able to help you in a better way I need to know the exact error message that you get on your screen.
I would like to suggest you to test it for errors with our tool Data LifeGuard Diagnostics which you can download for free from our website here: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=O9n807
I hope this fix the issue but if it's not helping much, since you said that your My Passport was new, you could contact our Support centerand eventually RMA it. Follow this link to contact our colleagues: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=BvXJ8m
Please come and share the results.
Hope this helps. Cheers.
