Internet not working on pc with cable in....

Posting for a friend who is pc internetless right now...

It was working, but then they unplugged the cable to plug into the xbox to play live. When they plugged it back into the pc it wouldn't work...and still wotn'

I know thats not much info to run off of right now, but any suggestions will do, and I will get more info...

When you re-plug the cable back to computer, disable and re-enable the network adapter, see whether it helps. If not, you can use ping to further troubleshoot this network problem.
