Xp sp3 crash

Hello,
SP3 update notification came up on machine and was initiated. Now any start up or reboot goes through XP icon screen then to black screen.

I've tried F11 and can get thru recovery but upon restart nothing is fixed.

I've tried F8 Safe Mode but get message that System did not complete install.

Norton Premier was running when the update was initiated.

I've tried to boot the XP Pro CD with no results.

Any fixes available?

Thanks for your interest but the answer you reference speaks to XP loading and video problems. My issue is with xp as it relates to SP3
