Hello,

Try this 1

1) Click on the below hyperlink "USBFix" and download the file.

USBFix

You need to click on" Download UsbFix Windows Installer".

2) Connect your external hard drive --> Open the USBFix application -->

Click on "Clean" button. Later, click on "Vaccinate".

Now check if you are able to open your external hard disk.

3) Now scan your PC using "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free"

Click on the below hyperlink and download the "Malwarebytes

Anti-Malware Free"

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free

Install it --> Before click on the "Finish" button, make sure that you

uncheck the option(remote the tick mark) "Enable free trial of

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium
".

When the application gets opened --> Update it --> Click on "Scan" -->

Select "Custom Scan" --> click on "Configure Scan" button --> Select your

drives --> At the right side, select the option "Scan for Rootkits" -->

Click on "Scan Now". After finishing the scanning, it will list the infected files

and gives you the option to remove it.

Good Luck
