Are you talking about the Windows password? The best thing to do is to contact the laptop manufacturer’s technical support and ask for guidance. Since you do not have the password or you do not have a password reset disk, you may need to boot from a Windows install DVD a complete a fresh installation. Sadly, you will lose all the data on the booting partition.
