Hi there,

My ACER laptop just got a technical problem, i want to set up a wifi router in my house, can i still configure it without my laptop? i have a tablet can use it?

hi buddy,

yes as Mossanasa said. on the router connect your tablet on the wifi if it the first time you on the router you will not need a pwd for the wifi or you will found the default one on the back of the router.
after connect it will depend on the type of router you have but mostly the ip adress of the router is: 192.168.1.1
so open a browser in your tab and put this adress than you are in the router!! default user and pwd will depend on the type of router as well... probably. admin admin...

yep all you need to do is power on the wifi router and activate ,,your wifi then look out for the ip address or the router

The IP address of the router is not part of what is on the broadcast, I am not certain of these instructions.

If there is a password on your router, then it is an ISP router, and they should be supporting you at this moment. Is it yours, or your ISP's router?
