Chromebook setting question: "Oops Sync has stopped working!" [Closed]

Hi all!

I have a Chomebook 14. I got a message in "settings". It says "Oops, Sync has stopped working". Settings recommend I disconnect my Google account.

Can someone explain why settings says it is necessary to "disconnect Google account".

In addition. It is impossible for me to do this because the bar in which I need to click is greyed out.

How can I "disconnect my Google account" if the bar is greyed out?

This whole problem puzzles me. Any help would be much appreciated :)

Reboot. Does it still happen? When was the last time you applied updates?
