Hotmail account help me

Hey i finally got my password changed for my account but since i had been guessing it lots before, when i logged in with the new password it said i had been blocked out because the password was entered wrong too much, even though im now entering the correct password. its an email from a couple years ago but i need in to get a password for an old instagram account, therefore i cant do that info sheet they give you cos the questions are 'recently sent emails' etc. ive done the change password steps a couple times, but it still says its blocked :// wat do i do
