Hello,
My desktop seems to have a virus. I am running Windows 10. When trying to sign in the box fills with p's. After many tries I am able to get in only to have p's enter continually in any fields that I try to use. Unable to use the desktop.

Hello

I doubt that it is a virus.

Have you tried a different keyboard?

Regards
My keyboard is wireless and it is the only one that I have. The P appears in my login field without my touching the keyboard.

I suggest you try a standard keyboard. Wireless are known to get bugs.

Let me know.

P.S. Try to log in safe mode and see if it repeats.
I borrowed another wireless board, which did not help. I tried to power on holding the f12 key to do a safe boot which I was unable to accomplish. My login field is now blank, no p's, but it will not show anything that I type in. I powered on and off a dozen times, same result. I guess I will have to find a keyboard that is not wireless.

A conventional keyboard would be a first troubleshooting step.
The standard keyboard worked. Thanks for your help
