Hi Minu,
Firstly, check if the pendrive has a lock button. Some devices have this additional feature and it is not possible to remove write protection if it is on. Are you trying to format the drive through Disk Management? Try in Safe Mode and if using another PC. If none of this works, try the following Command Prompt commands:
Diskpart
List Disk
Select Disk n (n is the number of the drive)
Attributes disk clear readonly
Clean
Press Enter after every command. Open Disk Management and try to format the drive.
