XP is no longer supported, you are looking for trouble, why are you trying to install it!
Are you installing from a Microsoft CD?
What does it say on the blue screen?

The system boots from the cd and shows that setup is loading the files. And immediately after that a blue screen pops up and says a message. I'm not able to move further. the message states something like this setup could not continue if this is the first time...........chect for viruses on ur computer......run chkdsk-f....and so on....

I am terribly sorry.
I was going to suggest that you try to restore the machine to out of the box factory settings. It seems to me that your machine was not assembled by a company such as HP, Dell, etc. so I am unable to tell you how to factory reset.
If you intention was to install XP to work on Internet you would have only troubles and failures. You would also need XP sp2 and sp3 which are no longer available, your computer would also be wide open to viruses and hackers.
Good luck

I still can't tell you how to factory reset because I don't know which company made your computer.
