System starts up but nothing on screen and the fan is loud.

Hello,
I have a hp notebook 820, and the problem is when I start it there are a few keys that start flashing then the fan starting spinning at noticibly high sound. I don't k ow what to do I've tried taking the dust out of the fan if that was the problem but it still doesn't seem to work.
