Setting: wifi connection switch

Hello,
My wifi connection switch (in the setting) cannot be turned on. When I click the switch it always 'off' whenever I click it. It sometimes happens when I restart/turn on the loptop. there is no switch on the loptop whatsoever but there is an indicator if the wireless connection is available to use(green light) but still the wireless connection cannot be turned on.

there's no problem with the router d I can still connect to it except to my loptop
No switches on the side of the loptop or on the keyboard. Only on the settings.

Does it mean that the WiFi doesn't work at all? If yes, there is two reasons:
1st one: You should install the drivers/up to date drivers to make it works
2nd Maybe your WiFi is dead and it works sometimes or doesn't work at all.
