Computer beeps 3 time and np display

Hello,

Well every time i turn on my computer. It beeps three time and i have no display my brother told me that he bought new ram cards and he by mistake plugsnit half way when the computer was about to shut down and when he did it the computer electricty went off and it had a smell like something got burn i tired removing the ram card change slots any idea guys sorry for my bad english
