Lost my gmail account

Hello,
I was looking at settings and passwords. I was trying to find my google password so I could link to my tablet. I clicked the button that said delete cookies and other info. I did not realize this meant the entire gmail account. I created a new password along the way, but my original account is gone. Please help. This happened iwithin the last 30 to 45 minutes ago.
