My PC does not start the .exe

Hello,

First of all thank you for being here to help me,

I have a huge problem with my computer, I do not know why but my pc does not want to open any executive file: .exe

how can I solve my prob?

First of all thank you for helping me with my prob. Actually there is an error message is this:

Windows can not access the device, the path or file specified.You Perhaps not-have the proper permissions to access this item.

Hi

You issue is kind of peculiar.

It can't be all .exe files because the browser you use to surf the net has an .exe file.

Are you the only user on the computer ? Are you the owner and administrator ?

Does the problem occur for all .exe ?

What is your operating system?

How many accounts are there on the computer (administrator, users)?

If you have any Windows Office software, do the launch?

You must answer all of my questions.

I agree with Ambucias..right click over it and run as admin!

Hello,

here is the answer to your questions:

-I am the only one using the computer
-I am the administrator
-No .exe does open
-Iuses Windows 10
-One account on my pc
-No office software on my computer

Well, I'll be darn! What a most interesting problem don't you think? I do remember someone from ...New-Brunswick if my memory is correct, who had a similar problem but I don't remember the solution.

If you don't mind, we will troubleshoot the problem.

(Mark, are you with me?)

Please open your file explorer, go to: C:Windows, open programme files (x86), there you will see all of your programme file folders, open the folder of your most favourite programme, find the .exe file, click right on the .exe file and choose open as administrator.

Let me know if the programme launches.

The program does not start. I do not understand why because when I open with the icon on the desktop her works.

Which programme would that be that does not start from the .exe file in the Windows programme folder? (Programme in Canada, program in USA only:-)

Does the programme start when you launch it from the start button ?

When did you last update your operating system?

No program opens with the .exe and my operating system is updated very often.
