Ok here it goes. Yesterday, I brought my laptop to school and it was raining. Then when I got home i didn't open it. Today, when I open my laptop, it has this red parts on the screen and when I restarted it, it won't open again. The fan is working and it has sound. The screen is plain black and has nothing to show. What should I do with it?

Hello aina0070,

Did your laptop get wet while carrying it? If it is that so, then the chance to have got damaged teh motherboard is very big. I am sorry to say that but I think there are very few things that you can do with the portable PC. My sugestion is to take it to a PC company to see if they could take out the hard drive and test it. If it works, you could at least extract the data.
