Vista to XP

Hello,


Hi guys please help me, what could be the problem. I have a HP laptop running Vista, I want to change from Vista to Win XP but when i put in my XP installation CD and it starts the setup, it later on when wanting to start the installation says that setup cannot continue because the hard disk could not be found, I went on setup and hard disk is being detected what could be the problem..

hi,
go in your BIOS, in the hard disk settings and change ACPI to IDE.
then try.
