Hi, I have prepared a master sheet in which we enter the data. There are different sheet in the same file which will use the same data but not simultaneously and not in same order as that of master sheet. So how do i activate a particular sheet so that data so entered in Master sheet is transferred to a particular sheet which i want at a time. As i do not want the same to be filled in all sheets simultaneously. Conditional activation?. Please guide.

Hi Hmnanavati,

So you want some data entered in the master sheet also be entered in another sheet.

Can you give some examples of how your sheets looks like and also what the criteria is for copying data to which sheet?

Best regards,
Trowa

Hmnanavati,

To share your Excel file, you can use a free filesharing site like www.speedyshare.com or ge.tt. Don't forget to post back the download link and Always be careful with sensitive data.

Also make sure it is clear which data needs to go where and when.

Best regards,
Trowa

Your request is a bit unclear, and Im not sure you fully understand the way excel works.

If you want different data on different sheets, then extract it that way to each sheet. Depending on how your data looks and how you want the extract, you could use a direct reference (=A1), or something a bit more complex like vlookup() or INDEX/MATCH
