What shall i do after formatting my laptop? Solved/Closed

Nowadays there are a lot of websites are having tutorials for how to format our laptop in step by step. But no one shows or tells that what we need to do after format our laptop like what are the basic things such as drivers and software's that should be install importantly. So please tell me what are the things that we need to do after formatted our laptop. My laptop is Acer Aspire 4540 and OS is Windows7. Thank You.

Hello,

Try this 1

1) After completion of installing the OS, you need to install the driver.

Click on Start --> In search bar, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Device Manager" will be opened. Make sure that there is no yellow mark.

If you find any yellow ? or ! mark then you need to install the drivers for that

particular device to make it working.

If you don't have a drivers CD with you then you can download the drivers

from your manufacture's website from another PC.

2) You need to install the Antivirus. If you are installing the Antivirus from

the backup you have then make sure to update its program and virus definitions.

3) Install all the required applications as per your requirements like Nero, 

Ms-Office, Adobe acrobat reader, Adobe Flash Player etc.
