Hi guys and dolls,

I am hoping one of you clever people might be able to help me...

I am trying to highlight a cell when 1. a date has passed and 2, the task has been marked as Outstanding.

I am playing in conditional formatting and can do each individually, but cannot work out how to make this happen together?

Also - and this is not essential - more of a learning point, can you choose or more than one cell to be formatted as a result?

Thanks for your help.

Lucie

Hi Lucie,

Combine the 2 formulas using AND:
=AND(first formula , second formula)

For your second question, choose to manage your rules. The 3rd column of the overview shows the applied range.

Let me know if something is still unclear.

Best regards,
Trowa
