Hello,

I have a Excel file where i have specific paths of the files and i Need a formula where it should reefr that cell path and Count the rows wich has values.

Example below are the path in my cell A1 to A4

R:\2016\08 August\Mutual\10.08.2016_Cash Recon SCD_BNP_Mutual Funds.xls
R:\2016\08 August\Special\10.08.2016_Cash Recon SCD_S_BNP_BNP1_BNP2.xls
R:\2016\08 August\10.08.2016_Cash Recon SCD_CACEIS_S_CBD_SG & P_CBD_SG.xls
R:\2016\08 August\Mutual\10.08.2016_Cash Recon SCD_CACEIS_CBD234.xls

I Need formula in B1 to B4 where the formula should refer the above paths and Count the no of rows data has.

I am aware of the formulas - "=SUM('C:\Reports\[Budget.xlsx]Annual'!C10:C25)" , but in the above Scenario daily i will Change the Folder date, so i do not want to Change anything.

Please can someone help me out with formula

Well, sometimes you have to change something, or add in a little more data (someplace)!

This isn't a formula, but a VBA project with folder crawlers!
