How to send an email automatic when a cell is updated

Hello guys,

I am imports coordinator I have a tracker created in excel worksheet which I use to track our shipments that arrive at port then proceed with clearance process and so on. I need to programme this tracker in such a way that whenever vessel arrives, and I update the arrival date by bolding the date value in cell along the arrival date column (because the anticipated arrival date is there always) then excel send an automatic email via outlook to alert my boss that the vessel has arrived please start to process payment.
