Hp2000 2b19wm won't power on

I have hp 2000 2b19wm Was using it when it suddenly went off and won't come back on. It was plugged in. I unplugged ,removed battery, held power 60 seconds, left it 10 minutes, plugged it in. Charge light comes on, but that's it.Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like a motherboard failure. How old is the laptop?

I see that you can buy a used one on Amazon for $200. Then you can remove your existing hard disk and transfer it to the working laptop. That should work and get your "new" laptop working just like the old one.

Just in case you can try removing your RAM card/cards to see if that will change things. I assume you don't even see the HP logo on starting the computer.

A PC repair shop will probably charge $100 or more to diagnose the problem.
