Hi Nikdas,
When you copy the files on the SD card, are you able to watch them, loading from the card? If you do, the card may be working normally but the issue may be file format related. It is possible that the phone can not support the file format of the movies. Are you able to copy files between the SD card and the phone without problems?
I would recommend you to backup all files, format the SD card and try again. If you have the option, test the card in another phone.
