Hi, I read your solution to this but i have the issue you indicated was Not the problem

(If it returns autorun.inf not found then this is NOT your problem)

I used Easus to set up a new partition on a newly aquired computer (Windows 7 Home Premium) I can open this new partiton (E) by right clicking and the clicking open so am not sure what the deal is with the double click error "application not found'
Any thoughts?

Thanks
Ed

Yep, figure I would start over and just wiped the empty drive. It works fine now. Thanks!

Hello fleshead,

Can you attach a printscreen from the Disk management menu? I would like to see how it looks like. Have you stored some files besides the operating system on the HDD already? If you haven't, you could try to erase the volume and then, if it gives you an unallocated space, you could give it a drive letter different than E, because there could be a problem with assigning the partition, especially if you have an optical drive.

Cheers.
