WD Hard disk is formatted by TV and it not recognized by Laptop.

Hello Amir,
The reason that your laptop does not recognize the external drive is that the TV most probably has it's own format to give to the external disks. First of all, you must check in the user guide of the TV what type of formats does the TV support. Most of the TVs rely on FAT32 format, but some of them can “see” even exFAT format. These two formats are known to be compatible with Windows so your laptop could recognize the WD My Passport.
Please, enter in the Disk management menu in your laptop and try to format with right click your external device in one of those two formats. It may take hours, so just be patient. :)
