Plz help me recover my old gmail and Facebook account

My gmail and Facebook account was hacked and all info to recover was changed. So I made a new one. Just recently I seen my old one was back. How can I get my accounts back. I have emails and pics I don't want to lose in my old account

How were you able to determine that your account was hacked?
