i hav xp service pack 2, with only 512 MB RAM AND one of my frnds gifted me gta 4 which req 1 gb with xp service pack 3 WILL IT WORK?????????????????

No it won't work. you have unsufficient ram to run this game... the requirement is 2 gb of ram
