The power no longer is applied to the fan. That could be a cause.
Sorry for such an elementary explanation, but you have given NO details as to other indications. Such as screen has bios boot on it but doesn't go into windows, something!

it could be a memory problem or a motherboard problem. I suggest you try running with only one of the memory modules.
