I have an Excel File with a tab named Ledger. I want to copy a row if it contains a specific word (Pets, Entertainment, Dry Cleaning, etc) and add that row to another tab (Pets, Entertainment, Dry Cleaning, etc). I am trying to create a master ledger and it pull out the specific lines and populate the specific tabs.

Hello Kynoshoes,

Firstly, please make yourself familiar with the CCM Charter especially the politeness charter:-

https://ccm.net/apps-sites/internet-archeology/ccm/10131-terms-of-use-for-ccm-respect-for-others/

Secondly, you will need to elaborate a little more on what you would like to do with your work book.

- What column is the criteria in (Pets, Dry Cleaning etc...)?
- How many different types of criteria will you be using?
- How many columns of data do you have in the "Ledger" sheet?
- Is the code supposed to create a new sheet for each criteria or have you manually created each sheet?

Can you please upload a sample of your work book ( be careful with any sensitive data) showing how you would like it all to work. Make some notes in the "Ledger" sheet. You can upload a sample to a free file sharing site such as DropBox or SpeedyShare and then post the link to your file back here.

We should then be able to help you.

Cheerio,
vcoolio.
