Not recognizing my mail address

I've been trying to help my daughter sign into her ymail but its saying 'Sorry, we don't recognise that email address or phone number' Myself and my daughter have tried everything and were going round in circles with it can anyone please her her as she needs to get into it as she has used it for a job application which she needs to see her reply.
