Hi
With Windows 7 and later, Microsoft has integrated a pdf file reader and converter but the were not allowed to use the Acrobat logo. The files are read with the default Windows programme, which for some is Explorer or Edge.
If you click right on the icon and click "open with" you may be able to choose the programme you like to open the file and most of the pdf icons may change to the programme you have chosen. But if it works for you now, why change it ?
