If you have not accessed your Gmail account for approximately 9 months, it has been deleted from the Gmail server. Inactive accounts and the data stored within are usually impossible to recover.

But I know the account hasnt been deleted because it still allows me to try signing in

Being allowed to try to sign in does not mean that it exists. Send yourself an email and see.
