A message apprears when I want to open goolgle, whetehr to download or open:-
APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO START BECAUSE SIDE-BY-SIDE CONFIGURATION IS INCORRECT. USE COMMAND-LINE SXSTRACE.EXE TOOL.

I suggest you uninstall and download a fresh copy of Google Chrome.
