Hello,

After I had removed a shortcut virus..
And to remove it I used a method..
Running cmd as adminstrator..
Typing F: then del *.lnk then attrib -s -r -h *.* /s /d /l
After that I opened new windows explorer and opened the drive and then found $RECYCLE.BIN folder and Drive.bat and a shortcut folder e5a38f29538be1e5c887fbfcb8b4 and nothing about my folders..
Then used too many methods to recover my folders even cmd by hitting attrib -s -h /s /d *.* then all I found is many lines of access denied on cmd even I ran the cmd as adminstrator..
In properties labled that the capacity used is just right..
HELP PLEASE.. I have important work on this drive..

You have used the wrong method to remove the worm type virus, you have also deleted the folders.

Sorry about that.

Should you ever get the virus again, come and see us first.

Good question !

Try this:

# Download USB Fix click here
  • Launch it, a shortcut will be created on your desktop.

  • Choose "Clean" option.
  • A pop-up will follow
Connect all your external data sources to your PC (Usb keys, sd cards external drives, etc...)
  • Once you're ready, click "OK".
  • While cleaning, you will lose access to your desktop, but this is normal.

The numbers of analyzed and infected elements are displayed.
