Is the new computer on the same domain as the last one? If you are trying to attach to an exchange server, then contact the administrator for support!

If it is an OST file, the email should reside on an exchange server. All you should have to do is to log him back in on the new PC and configure Outlook to connect back to his Exchange Server. All email will come back down from the server.
The only thing to look for on the old PC is Archive folders. They should show up as PST files though not OST (usually Archive.PST)
