Music but no words

I've read a lot about laptops doing but it
doesn't really help me. When I plug my
headphones all the way into my phone(iPhone 6s) I can only hear music, but no words. But
when I take them out a little bit I can hear
both. This is very annoying, because I have to keep my phone in a perfect position. Is there any permanent fix to this that doesn't involve getting new headphones or a new phone?

It sounds like you are using knock-off headphones. If you are not using genuine apple products, this is the result you will find.
