Star Wars on Disney +: all the shows and movies watch order
You signed up for Disney+ because you want to watch all the Star Wars movies and TV shows but don't know where to start after discovering that the first movie was made in 1977 and it's Episode IV?.. Don't worry! We are here to help you. Below we bring you the chronological order and some clues to make you feel like an expert in this saga.
Since Disney bought the Star Wars franchise in 2012, on Disney+ you can access every existing series and movie set in the vast universe created by Lucas' brilliant mind. Everything seems super cool and simple! Until you realize that the release order of the films and TV series made does not necessarily coincide with the chronological order of the saga story..
Let's take one example! The first Star Wars movie was made in 1977 and is called Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. One would assume that this is the fourth part of the saga, but it is not. It is preceded by nine series and films that you will have to watch to follow the chronological order of the story. And the fact is that the history of Star Wars, like any galaxy, is divided into periods, within which there are different chapters. Here we describe each of them in detail.
Rise of the Empire
The Rise of the Empire is the period when the Empire wields the greatest military power in the galaxy and crushes the opposition that arose during the Clone Wars.
