Hi. My laptop’s lcd screen is broken. I can’t afford to have it fixed. Can I still use ot if i connect it to a TV with a hdmi cable?

Yes, that should work. You might need to activate the HDMI port using the PFKey assigned by the manufacturer.

Toshiba Satellite L50-A laptop screen is broken . how can I install the windows on this. I have the HDMI cable connected to TV but it does not show any display to the TV .. not sure how can I install the windows if I can not see it on the laptop screen. Please advise. I am trying to install windows 8.1 pro. I have tried FN+F4 and other keys already but it does not do good with the situation

Windows install will only work with the default laptop screen.
