Laptop goes off when I unplug the charger.

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop. I have not used my laptop for some time, but h
ave a new battery. It was working when I first got the battery, but now whenever I unplug the charger it just goes off.
Can anyone let me know how to fix this issue please.

Perhaps the settings are set to turn off under battery. Check your battery settings!
