Hi,

I have an Asus K56CB with a broken screen so I use the VGA connection to another monitor. Recently I had to do a factory reset but I don't get anything on my monitor.
I have searched and searched, but I can't find any indications as to what I have to do to resolve this issue, in other words, I can't use the PC because I don't know what I have to do.

Is there any way I can do the setup steps blindly?

Also, when I bought the PC it came with Windows 8, or 8.1 and when I reset it, I had installed Windows 10.

I don't have enough money to fix the screen, but if you have any cheap tips for me to replace it, I'm all ears.

I'm a PC noob so please explain things to me like I'm a 3 year old child.
I'm desperate!

Cheers,

Windows Updates and Restores are hard-coded to display only on the laptop screen. Hence, the problem you are now facing.

I don't know of any way around the problem.

Good Luck
